Meet Our Staff
Pastor LD Maxson,
Lead Pastor
Pastor LD has served as the Lead Pastor at Central since September of 2012. He graduated from Practical Bible Training School in 1987 with a Bible/Pastoral Ministries Diploma and from Practical Bible College with a BA in Religious Education in 1996. He has been in pastoral ministry since 1989 and served in 3 different ministries as a youth pastor, interim pastor, and senior pastor prior to coming to Central. He has been married to the love of his life, Kelly, since 1987 and they have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. Pastor LD loves to preach and teach from the Word of God in order to see more and better disciples for God’s glory. Outside of work, Pastor LD’s pursuits include hunting, fishing, gardening, motorcycling, and snowmobiling.
Pastor Scott Paris,
Associate Pastor
Pastor Scott has served as the associate pastor of music and discipleship since 2021. He graduated from Appalachian Bible College with a BA in Bible/Theology in 2016 and graduated from Baptist Bible Seminary with an MA in Biblical Apologetics in 2020. He and his wife Amanda have been married since 2018, and are parents to three wonderful little girls. Pastor Scott’s greatest joy in life is connecting with people and helping them take their next step towards a better relationship wherever they are on their spiritual journey. Scott also enjoys hiking, reading, and playing video and board games.
